Painting from her 'mind's eye', Jayne combines flows of colour, texture, detail and marks to create vivid and striking results. Her latest abstract works explore the idea of urban landscape versus nature, and are dramatic and bold.
Jayne's land and sea paintings are inspired by her childhood in Scotland, and her travels to various parts of the world. Drawing on her love of majestic mountains and rugged coastlines, she paints from emotions, memories and imagination to create abstract journies across land and water.
Painting mainly in acrylics, Jayne works on a variety of surface materials, including plexiglass, wood & canvas.
